AMCHAM Myanmar

The American Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar (AMCHAM Myanmar) is a chapter under AMCHAM Thailand and was established on October 31, 2013. To date, more than 135 companies employing over 6,000 Myanmar nationals have joined the Chapter. These companies represent a diverse collection of industries and nationalities, but share a common goal to expand commerce between Myanmar and the U.S. and operate according to the highest international business standards. The mission of the AMCHAM Myanmar Chapter is to foster commerce and trade between Myanmar and the U.S. and provide a forum to help U.S. companies do business in Myanmar. AMCHAM Myanmar and its members uphold the highest of business standards, operating in accordance with the Universal Business Principles including environmentally and socially responsible business practices.

ASEAN CSR Network

The ASEAN CSR Network was established to promote and strengthen the practice of Corporate Social Responsibility across Southeast Asia. In support of the ASEAN’s vision of sustainable socio-economic development in the region, ACN promotes CSR best practices and international standards, conducts capacity-building activities, and provides opportunities for networking and exchange.

Australia-Myanmar Chamber of Commerce

The Australia-Myanmar Chamber of Commerce was established in 2013 and is a not-for-profit organisation which aims to promote closer economic ties by encouraging responsible bilateral trade and investment between Australia and Myanmar. The outcomes that the Chamber aims to achieve are threefold:

  • Support Australian businesses seeking to enter and explore opportunities in Myanmar;
  • Responsible investment in Myanmar by sharing Australian best practice; and
  • Assist in capacity building in the private and public sectors in Myanmar.

British Chamber of Commerce Myanmar

The British Chamber of Commerce Myanmar is an independent, non-profit membership organisation which promotes, supports and represents business interests in Myanmar. 

Since launching in 2014, the Chamber has grown to include over 200 companies and provides networking opportunities, information on conducting business in Myanmar and a platform to engage with Government on issues affecting business.

The Chamber also works with the Department of International Trade helping market entrants identify opportunities and navigate the challenges of establishing a business in Myanmar. 

CCI France Myanmar

CCI France Myanmar

CCI France Myanmar is a business network of about 100 French, Myanmar and International companies. Its objective is to expand and develop business and economic relationships between France and Myanmar by offering various activities to its members and by supporting the commercial endeavors of French Companies in Myanmar and Myanmar Companies in France. CCI France Myanmar is a non-profit organization created on the basis of the French Business Association in Myanmar established on March 14, 1996. The Chamber is member of CCI France International (Union of French Chambers of Commerce overseas) since June 2013 and thus became one of the 112 French Chambers based overseas. It also works closely with the other Chamber of Commerce and Industry in France and abroad, and the foreign Chambers of Commerce in Myanmar. Moreover, the Chamber collaborates with other trade-related French institutions such as the French Embassy’s Economic Department, Ubifrance or the French Foreign Trade Advisors (“CCE”). The FMCCI is overseen by a Board of Directors of 12 members renewed every 2 years during the Annual General Meeting.

European Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar

The European Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar – EuroCham – serves as the voice of European business in Myanmar. Its main mission is to advocate member interests with organisations in Myanmar, the ASEAN region and the EU. 

EuroCham Myanmar, funded by the European Union, was formally launched in Yangon in December 2014. The creation of a European Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar reinforces the mutually beneficial relationship between the EU and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

League of Corporate Foundations

The League of Corporate Foundations (LCF) is a network of over 80 of the largest operating and grant-making corporate foundations and corporations in the Philippines that promotes and enhances the strategic practice of Corporate Social Responsibility among its members and the larger business community, towards sustained national development. This year, LCF is celebrating its 20th year of advocating for the strategic practice of CSR. While celebrating the milestones as a network of corporate foundations and corporations doing good CSR, LCF will also take stock of where they are, the impact made, and plan for the future direction of CSR in the context of sustaining multi-sectoral partnerships for sustainable development.
