Special Awards
We have since veered a bit from the lifetime achievement award and have for many years instead been giving a special award for an organization composed primarily of businesses - that in fact our socially oriented and have implemented plans and projects to alleviate poverty, improve the environment, and other CSR practices.
In the past few years, we have given this award to Singapore Compact for CSR, Business Ethics Institute of Malaysia and Indonesia Business Links.
This does not mean that the organizers will not select any lifetime achievement awardee. It's all case to case. Unlike the Asian CSR awards, which are structured, have a formal board of judges, and a rather stringent search and selection process.
Be it for the special award or for the lifetime achievement award, we do not seek nominations from the public in the sense that it is not a competitive award. It is just a person or an organization that the organizers wish to honor. In the search and selection process, we consult the conference partners. |
