There is an exhaustive search and selection process for the Awards that include the generation of entries, initial screening, short-listing by a panel of experts and final judging.
-
Generating entries
• Companies from all over the region can nominate themselves and enter their projects or programs.
• AIM alumni from around the region, regional and international organizations, NGOs, advertising agencies, management consultants, suppliers of products and services are also invited to nominate companies.
• There is no limit to the number of entries submitted per company.
-
Initial Processing
• The Awards Secretariat processes the entries, collates the synopsis and supporting materials as submitted, and submits these for consideration by the Judging sub-committees.
• Supporting materials (such as videos and brochures), which are optional, are sent to the judges.
-
Judging Process
• A judging sub-committee for every award category is formed composed of AFCSR partners and selected experts, as needed.
• A chairperson is appointed for each team.
• The judging teams review the entries and make final recommendations to the conference committee.
• If there are two projects in the same category that are equally meritorious, an award may be given to both projects as joint winners. If there are no exceptional projects submitted in a category, the Board of Judges is not committed to give an award.
The successful companies (winners and special awardees) are those who in the OPINION of the judges’ best fit the category criteria. There are usually one winner and two to three excellence awardees. However, if there are two projects in the same category that are equally meritorious, an award may be given to both projects as joint winners. Note that if there are no exceptional projects submitted in a category. The Board of Judges is not committed to give an award.
