Hubert d’Aboville is the President & CEO of Paris-Manila Technology Corporation (PAMATEC), Founder & President of Together-Ensemble Foundation, Inc. and is on his third consecutive term as President of the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP). A French national, he descends from illustrious ancestors belonging to the old French nobility who served the monarchy and the Napoleonic Empire with distinction. He settled in the Philippines nearly 30 years ago and is married to Araceli Valenzuela, a granddaughter of a national hero Dr. Pio Valenzuela, with whom he has 4 children, Emmanuel, Olivia, Maïa and Alexandra.

In the late 1990’s, d’Aboville conceptualized and developed a rural electrification project (PRES Project) that he presented to the French government for financing as protocol for the Philippines in early 2000. After 10 long years of perseverance and hard work, his rural electrification project will finally come to fruition at the end of 2009 which will provide electricity to 18,000 households in 128 remote villages or barangays in the islands of Masbate and Ticao, one of the poorest provinces in the Philippine archipelago. D’Aboville has made this rural electrification project a model for development infused with corporate social responsibility (CSR) to alleviate poverty.

In 2002, d’Aboville was conferred the distinction of Chevalier of the National Order of Merit by the French government in recognition of his exemplary contributions to French-Philippine relations in the field of business, culture and humanitarian.

Through his Together-Ensemble Foundation which advocates development and progress in the Philippines, he organized a grand reunion of all the major French NGOs engaged in humanitarian service in the Philippines in October 2007 at the Plenary Hall of the Economic and Social Council in Paris, to mark the 60 years of diplomatic relations between France and the Philippines as well as to draw the attention of the French public for financial support of these NGOs. One of the major engagements of Together-Ensemble Foundation is the sustainability of the Galilee Farm, a 9-hectare organic farm established by the late Oblate priest, Father Yves Caroff in Bugwak, North Cotobato which provides agricultural training to the indigenous people of the region.

D’Aboville was also instrumental in making the Bay of Puerto Galera in the island of Mindoro the 32nd member of the Club of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World, a French-based exclusive international organization recognized by UNESCO that advocates sustainable development while protecting the environment.
